The Large Animal Veterinary Internship Program 2023 was completed successfully.

Since 2017, Mongolia V.E.T. Net NGO has been implementing a Large Animal Veterinary Internship Program, and this program successfully took place for the 6th year. This year, we had 7 brand new veterinarians and 1 intern who wanted to join and do practice from his work field, so a total of 8 veterinarians participated for 5 months.

During their internship program, the interns have studied more than 50 veterinary professional courses for 46 credit hours, finance courses for 7 hours, chronology training courses for 9 hours, basic English classes for 16 hours, and professional English courses for 23 hours. Additionally, they have participated in the following training: “Fast Horse Training 2023" and “Start Your Business” on how to write a project proposal.

They got to know farm activities and practiced on dairy and meat farms during their countryside mission trips three times.

This year, we signed a joint contract within the framework of the MJ-VET project of JICA International Organization, supporting a certain percent of study expenses for two intern veterinarians as a part of our cooperation.

The end of a matter is better than its beginning. I would like to wish all the best and success for your work and life to the eight young intern veterinarians who graduated the program successfully and also to the colleagues of the MJ-VET project of the JICA International Organization who cooperated with us.
