About Mongolia V.E.T.NET

This organization was first started as a “Veterinary Network” project of JCS-international Mongolia in 1998. It started by working with private veterinary practices, organizing veterinary trainings for veterinarians, giving veterinarians a few veterinary drugs and equipment, and organizing trainings and projects for isolated countryside school and dormitory students. In 2003 it widened its activity by becoming a non-governmental public service organization.

       Purpose and activity

       V.E.T Net is a Mongolian non-governmental organization working in the veterinary and education sectors in Mongolia. Within the veterinary sector, V.E.T Net provides Mongolian veterinarians with trainings in modern diagnostics and treatments. By developing and teaching yearly veterinary continuing education seminars, veterinarians knowledge and skills increase which in turn improves animal health as well as projects the health, safety and welfare of the Mongolian people. V.E.T Net also registers and imports a supply of effective, safe, and world standard veterinary drugs and equipment are introduced and taught to veterinarians and herders in Mongolia. V.E.T Net also operates Large and Small Animal veterinary practices and training centers in Ulaanbaatar and surrounding areas. Within the education sector, trainings are taught in the rural communities to children, teenagers, adults and government staff within the rural communities.
